For every RENGCOLIAN (Alumni of the Regional Engineering College of yesterday .. that has become NIT Rourkela now) spread over the length n breadth of the whole world since the past half a century, BIJU PATNAIK the adorable Founder of his/her Alma Mater will remain as the unparalleled icon of love, respect n inspiration .....

Brought up and worked in the Steel city of Rourkela till the end of the last millennium. Thereafter, migrated to Cuttack following a series of irreversible retinal detachments leading to a critical, visual handicap for the rest of my life.

Happily married to Jayantika (Kar), Finance Head of Delhi Public School Kalinga, Cuttack and blessed with a son (Prateek - my only child), at present working as HR Manager under ICICI at Mumbai.

Have been nourishing a burning desire of working for the under privileged class of the society dedicated exclusively to the people with physical challenges to make them differently abled with adequate vocational skills to cope with the challenges of survival with diginity.
